Aglaonema Silver Queen is one of the older, more well-known types of Chinese Evergreen and has been used in interior landscapes for decades. It has a pale silvery-green leaf with darker green margins and markings. Ideal for use in professional office space, Aglaonema Silver Queen is attractive and easy care. This is a great plant for areas with artificial lighting.
Place “Silver Queen” evergreen in a spot that receives low, medium or bright indirect light. Direct sunlight will scorch the leaves. Water the soil in the container regularly, whenever the soil’s surface feels dry to the touch. Use only distilled water and make sure you apply enough water that some excess water leaves the drain holes in the pot. This helps avoid the accumulation of salts. Slightly decrease watering frequency in winter, but do not allow the soil to dry out completely. Rotate the “Silver Queen” evergreen pot every few weeks, if it does not receive uniform light from all directions. This helps keep the plant symmetrical.
