Pumpkin Seeds?
The pumpkins have a smooth, yellowish-orange skin with a creamish to orange-colored flesh that has a pleasant squash-like taste. Pumpkins do best when the seeds are directly planted in the ground. Tuck the seed into the soil, and in a few months, you?ll be rewarded with an armful of fall?s iconic fruits.
Planting & Care
Sunlight: Require full sun
Soil: Requires well-drained loose soil, high in organic matter with pH between 5.8 and 6.8. Plentiful and consistent moisture is needed
Water: Regular watering is important up to seed germination. After germination water should be applied once in 5-7 days.
Temperature:? Germination temperature: 60 F to 105 F – Will not germinate in cold soil.
Fertilizer:? Before planting, you can always mix in some compost or well-rotted manure with the soil when creating the mounds. After the plant is established, you can help it with a dose of fertilizer every month with 5-15-15 or 8-24-24 fertilizer.
